Lincoln Electric® Outershield® 71M Gas-Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire of 0.045" Dia provides excellent feedability and good arc performance. The wire does not require any side cutters to restart. Wire with increased rigidity allows for easy manual break-off. It comes with varied advantages like high travel speeds, spray like transfer with very little spatter produced and rod based manufacturing for industry leading wire stiffness as well as feedability. Wire is designed with a unique manufacturing process which makes it extremely stiff and can weld mild steels. Wire is ideal for welding in all positions except the vertical down and is dual classified for 100% CO2 and 75% argon/25% CO2 mixed shielding gas. It is also charpy V-notch impact toughness tested to -40 deg C. Areas of application include bridge, ship and barge, general fabrication, machinery fabrication, structural fabrication and offshore applications. It is normally associated with E71T-1CJ, E71T-1MJ, E71T-9CJ, E71T-9MJ class of wires. Wire comes in a steel spool of 33 lb.
