Harris® ERCu 1/16" Dia Deoxidized Copper MIG Welding Wire comes on a 30 lb 12" spool and is ideal for GTAW welding. Wire is used to weld copper base metals and meets AWS A 5.7 standard. It requires relatively high heat input with lesser welding time. Wire has high electrical conductivity and produces trouble free welds that matches to the copper color. Argon can be used as a shielding gas for welding thickness up to 3/16" with 100 - 200 deg F preheat. Use 75% helium/25% argon gas for welding with a thickness over 3/16" with preheat of 7000 - 10000 deg F.
