3M™ 398FR Series White 7 mil Glass Cloth Tape measuring 2" X 36 yd features single sided acrylic adhesive for providing high adhesion and has excellent long aging properties ideal for many permanent applications. High conformability tape having abrasion-resistant glass cloth backing is ideal for sealing thermal and acoustic insulation panel applications that require high adhesion and flame retardancy. It also finds application in aircraft window sealing, duct sealing, seat repair, protection of wire harnesses, electrical cables or hoses from temperature extremes and abrasion. Tape used in marine applications meets F.A.R. part 25.853(a), F.A.R. part 25.855(d) and BMS 5-146 type I, class I, grade A standards.
