Norton® 1000 Series 6" Dia X 1" Medium Grade Silicon Carbide Convolute Wheel with 1" arbor is made by wrapping and bonding of web material impregnated with abrasive grain and resin around a centre core. Rapid finished non-metallic disc is waterproof and can be used on dry, wet or oily surface. Hard density heat resistant wheel reduces operator fatigue. Flexible disc is smear-proof and finds application for cutting on light deburring, blending and final finishing. It is ideal for flashing removal, blending weld areas on stainless steel, weld polishing, removing rust or oxides and applying decorative finishes with antique patterns.
