Norton® Bear-Tex® Rapid Strip™ Type 27 4 1/2" Dia 36 - 50 Grit Extra Coarse Grade Silicon Carbide Depressed Center Disc with 5/8"-11 arbor and fiberglass backing has an open web construction that enables aggressive cutting action while maintaining a cool, non-loading surface. Depressed center disc with 12000 RPM is designed for removal of surface rust and residue, corrosion, light weld splatter, dirt, mill scale and other similar surface contaminants. The non-woven web is attached to a fiberglass backing plate for direct mounting. Conformable disc offers superior cutting action while enhancing surface finish. It features thick, strong, synthetic fibers and silicon carbide abrasive bonded with a durable, smear-resistant adhesive open web construction. It is a better choice for quick and effortless rough cleaning and stripping. Abrasive coating covers the entire disc for offering a consistent cut rate.
