HOBART® FabCO® RXR Gas Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire of 3/32" Dia produces welds with consistent appearance and quality. Rutile-type, flux-cored wire suitable for flat and horizontal welding positions gives low hydrogen weld deposit and outstanding welding performance. Wire with slow freezing slag minimizes the risk of cold lap and lack of fusion. Wire gives deep sidewall fusion and has smooth as well as stable arc characteristics. Wire with low smoke, low spatter and extremely smooth operator appeal promotes versatility and helps to reduce clean-up time. It features a higher level of de-oxidizing elements to handle mill scale, rust and other contaminants. Wire operates extremely well within a wide range of amperage settings. Wire will have 86000 psi tensile strength, 75000 yield strength and 26% elongation in 2" when welded using CO2. Its low-smoke properties make it perfect for light to heavy gauge mild steel and low alloy steels. It is associated with E70T-1C/9C class of wires and is used in single or multiple pass applications with CO2 shielding gas. Wire comes in a drum of 600 lb and is used in railcar manufacturing, general fabrication, heavy equipment, earthmoving equipment, steel structures as well as storage vessels industries. This wire has to be stored in a dry, enclosed environment and in its original intact packaging.
